Testing Checklist

Use this phased checklist to structure analytical review for research peptide procurement. Adapt items to your internal quality management system and jurisdiction.

Before order placement

  • Document intended research use and internal specifications
  • Request example COA format and typical analytical package
  • Confirm batch-specific testing is available for your order
  • Align on HPLC and LC-MS expectations for the sequence class

On receipt of COA

  • Match batch ID across vial, invoice, and COA
  • Review method section and accreditation traceability
  • Verify LC-MS mass against theoretical MW when required
  • Check for red flags such as recycled chromatograms

Before batch release

  • Complete internal or third-party testing if your QMS requires it
  • File directory verification results for the testing laboratory
  • Store retain samples per your stability protocol
  • Record deviations and supplier responses in your AVL file
